MSU police and the Canadian National Police Service — a private railroad police force — responded to a 66-year-old woman trapped under a train at the Amtrak station near Harrison Road and Trowbridge Road Wednesday at approximately 9 p.m.

"Local rescue and fire personnel were able to free the woman and transport her to a local hospital," Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. "The extent of the woman's injuries are unknown at this time."
