The 2017 McDonald's All-American Game, which showcases some of the best high school players across the country annually, was held Wednesday at the United Center in Chicago, Ill.
Two future Spartans took part in the annual event as power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. represented the boy's West team, while forward Sidney Cooks played for the West team on the girl's side.
The boys were the first to tipoff Wednesday.
The West team came away with a narrow 109-107 win over the East team with help from Missouri commit Michael Porter Jr., who scored 17 points and eight rebounds. Porter was also named the game's MVP.
Jackson Jr., a 6-foot-11 senior from La Lumiere School in La Porte, Ind., was 1-for-2 from the field and made 3-of-5 free throws for five points along with three rebounds for the West team.
While the majority of the players have already committed to their respective schools, the boy's game featured six athletes who have yet to make a final decision.
Small forward Brian Bowen II and center Brandon McCoy are two of the six undecided players who played Wednesday and are both considering MSU.
Bowen II finished the game 1-of-6 from the field for three points and McCoy only managed to connect on 3-of-12 field goals, but made 7-of-8 free throws for 13 points. McCoy also grabbed seven boards, four steals and four blocks in the win.

On the women's side, the East team bested the West team 80-74 in overtime.
Texas commit and MVP of the game Rellah Boothe led the East with 18 points and nine rebounds, while MSU signee Cooks, a senior from St. Joseph Catholic Academy in Kenosha, Wisc., registered nine points in the West team's loss.
