Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign chief John Podesta announced Clinton will not speak about the 2016 presidential election as of early Wednesday morning.

According to CNN, Clinton will wait for all of the votes to be counted across the nation.

Podesta spoke on a Fox News broadcast.

"I can say we can wait a little longer, don't you think?" Podesta said. "They're still counting votes, and every vote should count."

There is no timeline set for when the official winner will be announced.
