The MSU hockey team announced Monday that their schedule gets a little shakeup as two games are moved around, according to a press release.

Originally, the Spartans were scheduled to host Ferris State University on Nov. 11, but the game has been pushed to Nov. 10 as part of the regular season. MSU will also host to the U.S. National Team Development Program U-18 team on Dec. 4 instead of the original Dec. 2 date.

Along with the schedule changes, the team also added a Green and White scrimmage game on Oct. 9 at Munn Ice Arena. The Spartan hockey team will start off their exhibition season at 4 p.m. on Oct. 2 against the University of Toronto.

The regular season for the Spartans will begin Oct. 14-15, when they travel to Sault Ste. Marie to play against Lake Superior State University.

For fans wanting to watch this year's hockey team, season tickets will go on sale Sept. 1. For those only looking to watch a few games, single game tickets will be available for fans to purchase on Sept. 30.
