In June, MSU police and the East Lansing Police Department assisted five other police agencies in Ingham County on a three-day sweep that resulted in the arrest of 48 people wanted on various felony warrants, according to WLNS.
Ingham County Detective Ryan Cramer led the effort, which targeted a list of 60 people, most of whose warrants were for violent felonies. Major police sweeps like this one usually only happen once or twice per year.
