Major police sweep leads to 48 people arrested in Ingham County

July 5, 2016

In June, MSU police and the East Lansing Police Department assisted five other police agencies in Ingham County on a three-day sweep that resulted in the arrest of 48 people wanted on various felony warrants, according to WLNS

Ingham County Detective Ryan Cramer led the effort, which targeted a list of 60 people, most of whose warrants were for violent felonies. Major police sweeps like this one usually only happen once or twice per year.

No one from MSU police or East Lansing police were available for comment.
