Tuesday, July 19: Make America Work Again
Today's events within the queue will begin at 5:30 p.m.
U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, U.S. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Donald Trump Jr. will headline primetime.
Other speakers include Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ), Dr. Ben Carson and Tiffany Trump, Donald's daughter with Marla Maples. As for the protests, mild crime on Monday included one arrest and items confiscated. Two protests summed up the day's demonstrations for the day.
A few protests are planned for Tuesday on both sides. So far, most protests have been peaceful according to Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams, with the exception of this morning when five arrests were made as four protestors attempted to climb a flagpole by Rock Hall.
Williams said his officers are handling the open-carry by approaching carriers to discuss the safety involved with carrying a weapon.
