Swarms of young Spartan fans turned out for the MSU football team's annual youth clinic Saturday, which the team holds every year prior to the team's Green vs. White Spring football game.

The free clinic is open to children ages 8-12 and is conducted by MSU football coaches and players.

According to MSU, the purpose of the clinic is to introduce youngsters to the game by stressing fundamentals.

And in addition to spending time with some of their favorite Spartan coaches and players, clinic participants receive Country Fresh ice cream, as well as a coupon for a complimentary hot dog and soft drink to be redeemed at a concession stand in Spartan Stadium during the spring game.
