Live stream to be held regarding MSU's Flint public health initiative

February 17, 2016

At 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha will do a live stream to provide updates on the joint MSU College of Human Medicine and Hurley Medical Center public health initiative she launched after releasing data in September 2015 showing elevated blood lead levels in Flint's children.

Along with Hanna-Attisha, interim dean of the MSU College of Human Medicine Aron Sousa will also be speaking on the ways in which MSU public researchers are finding solutions to address the needs of Flint's affected children in the present and going forward.

Other speakers will include provost and executive vice president for academic affairs June Youatt, associate dean of MSU College of Human Medicine Dean Sienko and vice president of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation Neal Hegarty.
