Today at 7 p.m., the Bernie Sanders for President Campaign Office will open at 2722 E. Michigan Ave., Suite 101, in Lansing.
The event is open to all members of the community. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and announcements and speeches will begin at 7 p.m.
“The office will be open, we will have food, refreshments, and possibly music entertainment,” Lansing resident and campaign contact Steve Monti said. “It will be a good opportunity to come out and get to know your community.”
The office, which will house local campaign staff, will be hosting regular training events for canvassing and phone banking.
The office will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily to the public for both volunteers and the general public.
