Winter Glow to take place Saturday in East Lansing

Downtown East Lansing will host Winter Glow Saturday Dec. 5 from 2-5 p.m. The event will feature a wide variety of fun-filled seasonal activities.The majority of activities are free.

Ami Van Antwerp, communications coordinator for the city, said Winter Glow is a popular winter-inspired event that has become a "tradition" in East Lansing.

Ice carving, a winter barnyard, horse and carriage rides, a special outdoor holiday farmers market, a heated music tent, activities and games hosted by the Community Relations Coalition and East Lansing Art Festival, winter photo scenes, marshmallow roasting, merchant activities, and hot chocolate will be available at Winter Glow.

In addition, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 3-6 p.m. inside the East Lansing Marriott at University Place for $3.
