Hello Spartans, here are your top stories for this week.
MSU suffered a tragic 39-38 loss this weekend to Nebraska, severely thrashing hopes at a playoff berth. Nebraska’s game winning drive was left in controversy due to the receiver stepping out of bounds on the scoring play.
However, as one of our reporters pointed out in a column, not all hope is lost as we could win the remainder of our games, take home a Big Ten championship, and possibly even garner the respect of the playoff committee.
One of our reporters made the perilous trek to the land of scarlet and silver at The Ohio State University to oggle the nationally renowned intramural facilities.
The goal was to learn how these impressive complexes contribute to student wellness and performance as well as how students contributed to their renovations. This trip was conducted in light of MSU’s apparent apathy toward the condition of our own facilities.
Students this week also banded together to fund the surgery for an alumna’s dog that was struck by a vehicle. Students raised over 4,000 dollars and Oliver had a successful surgery.
