Early on Nov. 16, an unknown suspect shattered a glass door on the ground floor of East Shaw Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The unknown suspect became angry because he couldn't get into the building after midnight and kicked the glass, causing it to shatter. The report was made by a 20-year-old female student night receptionist.

Disorderly conduct
A 50-year-old male from Lansing was cited for disorderly conduct, ordinance violation and trespassing on Nov. 14. An individual flagged down a police officer and reported a very drunk individual wandering around Lot 79. Police arrived and cited the man, who was transported to Sparrow Hospital with a cut on his forehead.
Burglary
On Nov. 14 late in the afternoon, a 19-year-old male student reported being the victim of a burglary. He took a nap in his room in Emmons Hall, leaving his door unlocked, and upon waking up noted his $1200 laptop had gone missing. There are no suspects and the case is still under investigation.
