November 13, 2015

Ryan Kryska and Matt Argillander give their thoughts on Saturday's matchup

The MSU football team (8-1, 4-1) will play Maryland (2-7, 0-5) at noon on Saturday at Spartan Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

The Spartans are currently ranked second in the Big Ten East behind undefeated OSU and the Terrapins sit at seventh in the East.

MSU leads the matchup's all-time record, 5-1, and defeated Maryland 37-15 in 2014.

Fifth-year senior quarterback Connor Cook will look to extend his school record of consecutive 300-plus-yard passing games. His current streak is four games (367 vs. Rutgers, 328 vs. Michigan, 398 vs. Indiana and 335 vs. Nebraska).

Senior wide receiver Aaron Burbridge will look to surpass 1,000 yards receiving on the season, as he has amassed 994 yards going into the game on Saturday. Burbridge's 994 leads the Big Ten and is the 11th most in the NCAA.
