Four students and a faculty member are currently in France studying abroad and they are all accounted for and safe as attacks kill dozens in Paris, MSU spokesperson Jason Cody said.
Only one of the five are in Paris, the rest in other areas of the country.
"We have made contact with (the student in Paris), who is safe," Cody said. "We have four other people, three students and another faculty member that is within the country of France, they're all safe."
Since the situation in the city is still developing, a decision to bring them home has not yet been made, however it is an option.
"At this point we're going to monitor the situation, see if there's going to be a determination to bring them home or not," he said.
