Throughout the day, the Central Intelligence Agency, or CIA, is holding its “CIA day” at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center for the first time ever in the state of Michigan.
The conference will last the entire day and students interested in a career in the field will be given exclusive information from CIA recruitersin addition to a “glimpse at how the Agency works,” according to the press release.
In addition, leaders from the local community will also provide insight at how the agency addresses matters of national security.
However, the workshop is “specifically designed for students” and will showcase the basic logistics on how the agency directorates function and how data on foreign intelligence is collected, analyzed, and relayed to US government officials for appropriate policy-making.
