MSU's Spartan Virtual Choir sings "Victory to MSU"

October 1, 2015

The "MSU Fight Song" was written in 1915 by Francis Irving Lankey, a civil engineering major and yellmaster at then-Michigan Agricultural College, along with fellow student Arthur L. Sayles. 100 years later, MSU is changing the official name to "Victory for MSU," the last three words of the song.

To celebrate this change and the victories the song has inspired, MSU has released a video of the Spartan Virtual Choir — a combination of MSU fans, faculty and even MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon with Kermit the Frog singing along to the century-old song.
