Bonnie Bucqueroux
A funeral service will be held in the memory of decorated and beloved MSU professor Bonnie Bucqueroux on October 31 at 11 a.m. at the People’s Church of East Lansing, with a small reception to follow.
Along with her successful teaching career at MSU as a journalism professor, she pioneered local TV and radio advancements, ran for congress, and enjoyed painting and gardening.
“Bonnie Bucqueroux is survived by her husband, Drew Howard; sister, Tina (Ron) Erskine; niece, Zoe Howard; extended family; and legions of friends.” According to her obituary, courtesy of Legend. “She was stepmother to two children from a previous marriage, Kim Pollard (deceased) and Steve Pollard.”
