One of Snapchat’s latest features, Our Campus Story, has become a popular feature for students to share what's going on at MSU and isn't going anywhere for a long time.
Our Campus Story is a live feed on Snapchat where students can post and view snaps from other students around campus.
“I think it’s cool that we can see what everyone is doing on different parts of campus,” biochemistry sophomore Rachael Smith said. “It’s good because ours is huge.”
And it has become a source for entertainment and news for many students.
“I like seeing the sporting events and watching the players after and before games,” hospitality business senior Scott Overcashier said.
Snapchat spokeswoman Shannon Kelly said students will be seeing a lot more Our Campus Story and for a long time.
"Campus stories are like modern day college newspapers that the whole community can contribute to."

"Campus stories are like modern day college newspapers that the whole community can contribute to," Kelly said in a statement.
The live stories are available on students' feeds at 50 schools around the country. Only snapchatters who are in or around campus can view and post to the story.
Kelly said there's a team at Snapchat who chooses which snaps are posted to the live story. The team picks what best represents the events of a day for a narrative story that shows beginning, middle, and end.
"We just hope that students use this in a responsible way," MSU spokesperson Jason Cody said.
Our Campus Story first launched in June of 2014 and was only available to Pennsylvania State University, University of California, Los Angeles, University of Southern California, and University of Texas at Austin.
