MSU Paranormal Society: the real Ghostbusters
A certain group of students at MSU has a passion for paranormal that goes beyond October 31. These students are apart of a club called the paranormal society, a Ghostbusters type of group who discovers the things that go bump at night.
Students share laughs at comedy show run inside local house
Laughter is the best way to fight the blues away, or at least that’s what mathematics senior Tom Gannon says. Gannon is a comedian and the founder of the comedy show, 825 Albert Comedy. About once a month, Gannon and his friend Pat Hoban, rearrange the furniture in Gannon’s living room to host the free comedy show. “Comedy is like a relaxed form of art and if it’s good people don’t have to work too hard to feel it,” Hoban said. Around the time of each show, Gannon and Hoban make funny, sarcastic fliers to put up around campus.

Eric Thomas went from nothing to something. He went from being homeless and eating out of trash cans to a nationally renowned motivational speaker.
Students try the cupcake challenge
Recently, the cupcake challenge has taken over the MSU Snapchat story. The goal is to eat a whole cupcake in one bite and without using hands. The State News asked students to try out the challenge and see if they could be successful.
