After nearly 20 years of "dedicated service to the nation’s community of academic advisors," adviser Dan King has won a national advising award, according to a statement.
King is the academic adviser in biosystems engineering, civil engineering and environmental engineering in the MSU College of Engineering.
The award is the National Academic Advising Association Commission and Interest Group Division Service Award and King will receive it at NACADA’s 39th annual conference in Las Vegas.
He is active in NACADA, serving as regional chair for Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Ontario and Wisconsin.
King was not immediately available for comment.
