Meridian Township Police are investigating an armed robbery which took place the evening of of June 11 at the 1600 Block of Pebblestone in Okemos.
According to a police report, at approximately 8:20 p.m., the two men living in the residence realized that two subjects had entered the home. One of the victims reported the men came to the second floor, threatened him with a handgun and stole cash and personal property.
The second resident was able to flee the home before the robbers discovered where he was, the police report said. The suspects then left in a dark colored SUV. Neither of the men living in the home were injured in the robbery.
According to the report, suspect one is described as a black male, 30-35 years of age, 6-foot-2, 300 pounds, heavy-set build, short black hair, and wearing a dark colored shirt and blue jeans. Suspect two is described as a black male in his twenties, 5-foot-10, 200 pounds., muscular build, short black hair and wearing a multi-colored t-shirt.
Police believe the location was targeted because a medical marijuana caregiver is associated with the home, the police report said.
