Construction on Abbot Road, between Burcham Drive and Saginaw Street, began Sunday, June 28 and is scheduled to finish mid August. To minimize the impact on daily-traffic, construction will take place primarily at night between the hours of 8 p.m and 6 a.m. with traffic being maintained during non-working hours.

A complete closure between Whitehills Drive and Saginaw Street will occur towards the end of the part of the project. The date for this closure is yet to be determined, but is due to the need for the replacement of an entire cross section.

Detours will be posted during all construction activities.
