MSU administrator and professor MaryLee Davis will be honored at the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame Awards Dinner and Induction Ceremony at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center on Thursday, Oct. 30.
Davis is a professor and senior advisor/consultant to the dean of the MSU College
of Osteopathic Medicine. She is also professor emerita in the College of Education, where she teaches courses on post secondary education and healthcare.
Davis is also very involved within the community.
She has served in leadership roles with local, state and national organizations devoted to healthcare, education, public policy, diversity, youth, community service and advocacy for women.
The Hall of Fame, established in 1983, was created by the Michigan Women’s Studies Association to inspire and engage adults and children by celebrating Michigan women’s history.
It promotes educational opportunities and honors the accomplishments of women throughout the state of Michigan.
The 2014 induction ceremony and dinner begins with a reception at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. and ceremony at 7 p.m.
