The CATA Bus Station in Lansing has resumed normal services after being re-routed for about three hours due to a suspicious package, according to Lansing Police.
Lansing Police Sgt. Guy Pace said a briefcase was left out on the property early Saturday morning. After a K-9 alerted to it as a potential explosive device, the bomb squad was called out to investigate. After about three hours, the package was cleared and the bus station and the surrounding areas were re-opened.
