Alleged East Lansing High School vandals arraigned

Four of the six suspects allegedly involved in the malicious destruction of property at East Lansing High School were arraigned Monday at 54B district court after voluntarily turning themselves in. The seniors spray painted "Seniors 2014" on the high school on the morning of Friday, June 6.

Each of the four suspects were formally charged with one count of destruction of school property which is a misdemeanor offense and punishable by up to 90 days in jail and up to a $500 fine.

The suspects include Londel Jamal Nelson, Devin Frederick Paritee, Justin Rudolph Paritee, and Kenneth James Washington. All the suspects are 18 years old and all were seniors at East Lansing High School this past year. 

The remaining two suspects have not been arraigned.
