February 3, 2014

Here are a few events for students who have extra time to kill and want to stay warm.

*Men’s Basketball vs. Penn State *

Thursday, Feb. 6

Come watch the MSU men’s basketball team take on Penn State in Breslin Center on Thursday at 9 p.m. Be a part of MSU’s sports atmosphere cheering on our spartans.

The Claudettes

Thursday, Feb. 6.

The piano-drums band, The Claudettes will be performing at the Green Door Blues Bar & Grill. The Claudettes are self-described as a fanatical fusion of blues and soul-jazz — like Ray Charles on a punk kick.

Lil’ Sibs Weekend

Friday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 8

Show off MSU to siblings, cousins, nieces or nephews through MSU’s Lil’ Sibs weekend of events. This weekend, the Union will host activities such as Go-Go toilet racers, balloon artists, karaoke, bowling and more free of charge. To secure a spot, students can register at http://www.uabevents.com.

The event runs Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Check-in begins at 4 p.m.
