The website footballscoop.com reported earlier today that Narduzzi turned down an offer to take over the head coaching position at UConn.
Tweets sent out earlier Wednesday from Football Scoop’s account also reference the offer and indicate that it was was “aggressive.”
Earlier this week, Narduzzi won the Broyles Award as the nation’s top assistant coach.
His leadership this season helped propel the Spartans to the top of several national statistical categories on the defensive side of the football.
There’s rampant speculation that Narduzzi is a prime candidate to take over a head coaching position somewhere.
