MSU’s black community started tweeting out various issues about what it’s like being a black student this week following a similar movement at University of Michigan.
Using the hashtag #BBMSU, which translates to “Being black at Michigan State University,” students tweeted about a range of experiences from problems with university policies to the importance of the black student population.
