A student’s moped was stolen between 3 and 5 p.m. on Oct. 14 in University Village, according to police.
A 19-year-old male told police he parked his moped, a black and silver Tmec valued at $500, at a bicycle rack on the southwest corner of University Village, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
When the student went outside to retrieve his moped, he reported it had been stolen.
He could not recall whether his moped was registered. The theft is under investigation.
