Police searching for two suspects after E.L. downtown armed robbery

The East Lansing Police Department, or ELPD, currently is searching for two suspects connected with an armed robbery which took place just after 11 p.m. June 10 on the 100 block of Orchard Street in East Lansing.

ELDP Lt. Scott Wriggelsworth said two African-Americans males approached the victim, claiming to have a gun, and robbed him.

The victim was unable to provide the police with a physical description of either of the suspects, according to Wriggelsworth.

Police officials have yet to release an account of the items stolen, and have not named any suspects in the case.
