MSU women’s basketball associate coach Tempie Brown is departing MSU for an assistant coaching job with Stanford, the MSU athletics department announced Tuesday.
Brown spent four seasons at MSU and was promoted to associate head coach in April.

MSU women’s basketball associate coach Tempie Brown is departing MSU for an assistant coaching job with Stanford, the MSU athletics department announced Tuesday.
Brown spent four seasons at MSU and was promoted to associate head coach in April.
In addition to her role as an assistant coach, Brown also served as the team’s academic liaison. During her three seasons as the academic liaison, 14 Spartans earned Academic All-Big Ten honors. This past fall, the team’s cumulative GPA was 3.1731, the highest in program history, according to MSU.
During her four years, the Spartans made the NCAA Tournament each year and have gone 95-37 overall, 46-20 in the Big Ten.
