A homeless man was cited Wednesday after he became aggressive upon reading about the Boston Marathon bombings in Monday’s edition of The State News, according to MSU police.
MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said the 42-year-old homeless man reportedly entered the north entrance of the Main Library early Wednesday morning and began reading The State News.
After looking at a photo of the bombings that took place at the Boston Marathon, the man reportedly threw the newspaper across a library counter and told two student employees, and anyone else in the vicinity, they could “shove it up their ass.”
The man was cited for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace and was then released.
