Tutti Frutti opens for business

March 10, 2013

Tutti Frutti, a self-serve frozen yogurt store, and bakery O’ My Buns! now are open at 515 E. Grand River Ave., where Planned Parenthood previously stood.

The businesses opened March 7, owner Kayla Nguyen said.

The store’s grand opening is scheduled to take place March 22, and special offers will be announced three days before.

Tutti Frutti carries yogurt that is both vegan-friendly and lactose-free. The store recently released a soybean frozen yogurt that is non-fat, gluten-free and has no artificial sweeteners.

Additionally, 10 percent of profits from soybean yogurt will be donated to Nutrition & Education International, which helps farmers grow soybean crops in Afghanistan.

The frozen yogurt store sells more than 50 flavors of frozen yogurt, including traditional flavors such as chocolate and vanilla as well as flavors such as birthday cake, royal red velvet and guava. A wide range of toppings also are available.

O’ My Buns! sells specialty buns including coffee buns, cream cheese vanilla buns and cookie buns.
