Longtime MSU Museum curator Val Berryman died Friday morning, according to the museum’s website.
Berryman died in hospice after a “brief fight with bone cancer,” according to the Lansing State Journal.

“We have lost a devoted curator and a fine historian,” MSU Museum Director Gary Morgan said in a statement. “But more immediately we have lost an old friend.”
Berryman’s final exhibit, “Adventures in Time and the Third Dimension,” will open next month, according to the site.
