Cash machines stolen from E.L. library

East Lansing Police are investigating two reported break-ins and the thefts of two electronic cash machines from the East Lansing Public Library, according to a department release.

The suspect allegedly broke out of a back window in the early evening hours of Dec. 15 at the East Lansing Public Library, 950 Abbot Road, with an electronic cash machine attached to a color copier.

The suspect returned in the early morning on Dec. 20 and allegedly broke out of another back window of the library with an electronic cash machine, this time hooked up to a black-and-white copier.

Police described the suspect as a 6-foot-tall male who wore a ski mask.
