The Ingham County Sheriff’s Department held a press conference today releasing more information on the search of the suspect in the shootings on I-96.
Police currently are in search of the suspect involved in 25 shootings that have occurred between Oct. 16 and Oct. 27 across Ingham, Shiawassee, Livingston and Oakland counties.
To increase security in East Lansing this weekend, Ingham County Sheriff Gene Wrigglesworth said the department will bring in an extra patrol for the MSU home football game.
Although he was unable to release the number of patrol officers he plans to recruit, Wrigglesworth said it is a “significant number.”
