Did you know you can get a library card from the East Lansing Public Library with your MSU student ID? You don’t even have to be a resident of East Lansing.
The ELPL has free, preloaded Nooks available for checkout, free DVDs and e-books; it’s a great place off campus to study by yourself or reserve a study room for a group and use the online databases for research.
Got kids? Check out our great children’s programming. We have one of the best children’s literature collections in the area.
Want to practice your English? Come to the Practice Your English conversation group.
Want a relaxing way to talk about books? Check out the Books on Tap discussion group.
Did you know if you are a registered voter in East Lansing, you can vote yes for the library levy on Nov. 6 and help keep all these great things going?
Without it, the library hours of operation will be reduced, and many of the great programs we offer, as well as the budget for books and electronic sources of information, will have to be cut.
So vote yes on Nov. 6 and come check us out!
