I wanted to write to you and let you know how thrilled I am that you printed an article in Tuesday’s paper about Detroit.
Although born and raised in East Lansing, I discovered the beauty of Detroit last April.
Since then, I have fallen in love with the city and its people.
Many are unaware of what the city has to offer and the history behind many of its majestic buildings.
The old train station in Corktown and the Motown Museum are just a couple of my favorite places to visit.
With the attention of the presidential candidates in the election, the Tigers playing in the World series and the support of fellow Michiganders behind it, I hope the city of Detroit can regain some of the recognition it deserves.
