MSU Police investigate Lot 89 bike theft

MSU police are investigating a reported bike theft from Lot 89, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The bike belongs to a 22-year-old male student who reported his bike was stolen sometime between 7:30 p.m. Sept. 29 and 12 p.m. Oct. 1, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The black, 21-speed Schwinn bike is valued at $150, and it has a headlight and padded seat, she said. It was locked with a cable lock valued at $10.

There are no suspects, and the investigation is ongoing, she said.
