MSU students can register to vote Friday when Secretary of State Ruth Johnson’s mobile office comes to campus.
Staff members will be outside of the MSU Auditorium from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to offer voter registration and answer questions, according to a press release from the Secretary of State’s office.
“I encourage every citizen who is not yet registered to vote to take a few moments and do so,” Johnson said in the release. “Voting is a fundamental freedom and responsibility in this country.”
The mobile office’s stop on campus is a part of Johnson’s 2012 “ExpressSOS” Voter Registration Drive, which stops at about 20 colleges and community centers.
