Lansing schools sponsor meals

The educational program must be recognized by the state or local public educational agency.
About 30 sites will provide meals to individuals regardless of sex, disability, race or national orientation between June 18 and August 17.

Participating sites include Boys & Girls Club of Lansing, Westside Community YMCA, Mid-Michigan Leadership Academy, DeWitt Charter Township Community Center, First Presbyterian Church, Letts Community Center, Beckman Center Summer School, LMT Child Care Center, LaRoy Froh Housing, Oak Park YMCA, Mt. Vernon Housing, Foster Community Center, Shabazz Academy, Hill Center C-4 Program, Eastern High School Field House, Southside Community Center, Village Summit, St. Stephen’s Community Church, Snell Towar Recreation Center and Lansing Parks & Recreation at Cavanaugh, Lewton and Cumberland elementary schools.

Many of the sites listed above serve both breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday.
