A 19-year-old male student and a 19-year-old female student reported their cell phones were stolen between 8:45 and 9 p.m. April 3 from a study lounge in East McDonel Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The students were studying in a lounge on the fourth floor when they decided to take a study break, leaving their laptops and phones at the table, McGlothian-Taylor said.
Upon their return, the students found the laptops, but their phones were nowhere in sight.
The male student’s phone was a black iPhone 4 valued at $500 and the female student’s phone was a black iPhone 4S valued at $700.
