Bob Marley Birthday Bash
If you are looking for a night of smooth music and celebration, you can attend the Bob Marley Birthday Bash at 8 p.m. Friday at The Loft, 414 E. Michigan Ave., in Lansing.
Admission is $8 in advance and $10 at the door. This reggae bash is only for those ages 18 or older.

DAYGLOW
DAYGLOW “The World’s Largest Paint Party” will be back in the area from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday in the Lansing Center, 333 E. Michigan Ave., in Lansing. DAYGLOW was last in Lansing on Oct. 21.
Following the show’s sold-out BLU Tour, which traveled
to 50 cities, promoters decided to create the L!FE IN COLOR Tour, which started in January and again includes 50 stops throughout the country.
Unlike DAYGLOW’s last Lansing event, tickets to this show are not sold out.
General admission tickets can be purchased on DAYGLOW’s website for $45 each.

Students who still are looking for a valentine can attend a University Activities Board
speed dating event at 9 p.m. Saturday in the parlors on the second floor of the Union.
There is no cost to attend, and there will be drinks and cookies after the speed dating portion. The first 100 daters will get a goodie bag when they enter, and three students will have a chance to win NCG Cinemas prizes.

Connxtions Comedy Club presents Kevin Bozeman
Are you looking for some laughs this weekend?
At 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at Connxtions Comedy Club, 2900 N. East St., in Lansing, Kevin Bozeman will be performing.
This show promises to be hilarious — the comedian is known for his high-energy routines.
Bozeman has made appearances on many shows, such as Comedy Central’s “Comics Come Home.”
Tickets to Saturday’s event are $15.

Rock out at MAC’s
Up-and-coming reggae band The Pinstripes will perform at 5 p.m. Saturday at MAC’s Bar, 2700 E. Michigan Ave., in Lansing.
The soulful music of this six-member group, which is based in Cinncinati, features guitar, drums, saxophone, trumpet and more.
The Pinstripes will be joined by special guests Take A Hint, Quicknote, Statelines and Ailat
Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 the day of the concert. All ages are welcome.
