Pretrial for alleged murderer David Marion Jr. scheduled for Tuesday

February 20, 2012

David Marion Jr., one of the alleged co-conspirators in the March 2010 killings of MSU student Darren Brown, 18, and roommate Owen Goodenow, 23, will have a pretrial in Lansing’s 30th Circuit Court at 3 p.m. today.

Marion has been accused of planning to kill Goodenow with co-conspirator Benjamin French to steal a safe containing about a pound of marijuana and $1,250 in cash, killing both Goodenow and Brown in the process.

French, 23, was sentenced to life in prison without parole on the same charges Jan. 25.
