Friday declared MSU Green Day

December 1, 2011

Spartans, it’s time to show your true colors because Dec. 2 is officially MSU Green Day.

On Thursday, Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder declared Dec. 2 MSU Green Day. According to a press release, the day will be used to honor the MSU football team and its upcoming match-up in the inaugural Big Ten championship game in Indianapolis.

The Spartans will face No. 15 Wisconsin in the championship game for the second time this season, and the winner will play in the Rose Bowl on New Years Day.
