Police Brief 8/12/11:

Rock thrown through students window in Lot 75

August 11, 2011

A 21-year-old male student reported his passenger’s side rear window shattered at Lot 75, off Kalamazoo Street, between Aug. 6 at 9:30 p.m. and Aug. 7 at 9:30 p.m., MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The student returned to his 2005 black Jeep Cherokee and found a shattered window and a rock about 4 inches in diameter inside, McGlothian-Taylor said.

Nothing was stolen, but about $750 in damage was done to the window.

“He has no idea who would do such a thing,” McGlothian-Taylor said.

There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
