Softball, baseball games postponed

The MSU softball team’s doubleheader scheduled for today against conference foe Purdue has been postponed due to inclement weather forecasted in for the East Lansing area. Instead, the Spartans (21-18 overall, 3-7 Big Ten) will host the Boilermakers in another doubleheader May 11 at Secchia Stadium. First pitch for game one is set for 2 p.m.

MSU will return to action at 1 p.m. Saturday, when they host a two-game series against Indiana. Game two is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday and will be followed by an Easter egg hunt. The Spartans also will sign autographs after both contests.

The MSU baseball team also had its Tuesday matchup against Western Michigan postponed due to weather. No makeup date has been set.
