Man reports stolen oxycodone

March 31, 2011

A 34-year-old East Lansing man reported his medicine allegedly was stolen from a bag he left unattended between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. March 19 at the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The man was working at a home and garden show at the Pavilion and he said he left the bag at various points throughout the day for lunch and bathroom breaks, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The man did not check the bag for its content until March 29, and at that point he realized his 100-count bottle of oxycodone was missing.

There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
