East Lansing officials recently received three Michigan Council for Arts and Culture Affairs, or MCACA, grant awards.
The recipients of the grants include the Summer Solstice Jazz Festival, which received a minigrant of $3,000 from MCACA and the Greater Lansing Arts Council; the East Lansing Art Festival, receiving $7,500; and All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre, with a grant award of $7,100.
Organizations scheduled to receive an MCACA grant award are required to match those funds with alternative public and private dollars. Capital Region Community Foundation and Jackson National Life locally support the project.
