Student reports shattered window

March 24, 2011

A 20-year-old student reported the window to his dorm room was shattered between 3:10 – 3:15 a.m. March 20 on the first floor of West Holmes Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

He reported he was sleeping in his bed when he was woken up by the sound of the window being broken. He did not see who threw the rock at his window but he heard laughter after, McGlothian-Taylor said.

Two witnesses also heard the window breaking. They did not see the perpetrator, but they also reported having rocks thrown at their window at about 9 p.m.

The window was valued at $100.

There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
